Default S13 200sx

i'm looking at dipping my toes into the dangerous world of RWD any opinions of an S13 over say a carlton GSI/omega etc?

Fantastic motors - easily tuneable!

Main problems seem to be an appetite for big-ends - although TBH, if keeping fairly sensible mods, then that shouldnt be an issue.

i sold mine at xmas, real good bit of cheap fun.

took me ages to find a decent one tho, the chassis go quite badly on these if not looked after tho. just make sure you check it really well underneath.

mine had done 140k miles but been serviced regularly & was still going strong!

And look for rust on arches and rear boot lid!

cheers, think stage 1 should be enough - its more a case of a cheap entrance into RWD and sort of enough power to get rear out without having a huge learning curve

and at those prices if it gets binned then its not the end of the world
