Default VW Phaeton W12

There's a 2003 model with 18,000 miles on the clock currently advertised for £26,950. That's a lot of the car for the money!

But in 6 months time will it not be worth £15 000?

The W12 engine is just 2x VR6 golf engines side by side, it's the same engine that's in the new(ish) Bentley isn't it??

Good cars although not great depreciation wise!!!

Put it this way, they could have easily put that exact same car out with Audi badges on and it'd would do well.

2nd hand, they must be bargain of the century for those looking for luxobarges.

I once spoke to a bloke who owned one of these, he thought he was ace and i thought it actually was a nice car until he said how much he had paid all I could say was why not a BMW 5 series or Audi. But each to their own.

Why would you say that? They're not comparable. Like saying to a Mondeo owner, why didn't you buy a fiesta or focus. The Phateon is the equivalent of a Merc S Class, BMW 7 series, Audi A8 etc., not compromised exec repmobiles like 5 series and A6's.

Kind of. Doesn't have the turbos though.
