Just bought my new car....
Picked up a BMW 730i V8 over the weekend. With FSH, 75000 miles on the clock, not a mark on it, in Aspen silver, and immaculate all over!
Paid £3300 for it, so am well chuffed after i sold my 94 WRX for £5000!!!
Completely standard at the moment with some awful alloys, but planning on getting these changed over as well as later spec rear lights, clear indicators, and thats about it!!
Seems quite quick in sport mode, although the mrs says i've been driving like a grandad since i bought it!!
One thing that has been playing on my mind is the cambelt - the dealer, and a few other people i have spoken to have said it has a chain, and therefore doesnt need changing, whereas other people have said it's a belt and will need changing at some point! Could anyone confirm for me?

IIRC it is a chain.
Get some pics up mate.. These cars are HUGE value for money, however, if it breaks it will make you cry when you pay for it to be fixed. It still carries the repair bills of a £50k car unfortunately.
Cheers,
Grant

Yeah, luckily it's bonus time at work soon, so will be putting that to 1 side, should any repairs need doing!!
Will try and get some pictures up, but it's identical to the BMW 750i used in James Bond Tommorow never dies (except for the wheels!)
