Audi RS6 fuel consumption?
I know there's a few people on here with the Audi RS6.
I wanted to know what the fuel consumption is like, i'm expecting it to be bad but how bad?
Will i see 25mpg on a run and 17mpg around town, if drived normally or is it worse than that?

My thoughts exactly. Audi also do some very nice diesels if fuel consumption is an issue.....
Only joking. 25mpg sounds a little optimistic, probably low 20's, but actual owners I am sure will comment.

It's not so much the cost of the fuel, i hate watching my life ebb away at petrol stations. If i go on a trip somewhere to further i can get without refueling the better!
With the number of miles i do a year the cost of fuel isn't a big factor to me but i do like to know what my likely yearly outlay will be before either wasting someones time looking at a car or committing to a purchase.

I've owned an RS6 avant for just over one year.
Average fuel consumption over thousands of miles and a mix of driving is 19.0 mpg according to the trip computer. On a run, say down a motorway, with the cruise control set to 80mph you'd get 25-26mpg. Around town it is pretty abysmal - around 13mpg.
Gary.

Thank you.
That's not too bad, no worse than i was expecting.
Are you pleased with your car, if you don't mind me asking?

If you do a search on this forum you'll see a fair few other threads on RS6's where me and other people have written quite lengthy posts on their ownership experiences. But if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask or PM.

Hello mate I have a Saloon and get roughly the following:
-Town: 15-18mpg
-Motorway (85mph): 25+mpg
-Average: ~19mpg
The fuel tank is massive: around 82L or 18gal. I get about 350 miles to a tank
Edited to say: I love the car to bits. Its just so quick, but not in a BMW-M car kind of way where you have to get about 7k revs to get the power, but in a way that is accessable on a day to day basis - plant your foot in any gear at any revs and she'll never fail to surprise!.
