Default A V-car?

Anyone know what this is? seen it before and seen a car for sale which looks very appealing, mentions it being a V Car, stolen recovered? cat D,C, write off? Cant think what it would be.

Thanks

You need to ask them why its on V car.
Like you mentioned, any catorgory damage (d,c,b,a), stolen, whatever.
The v car thing just means something has been registered against it.

Right so basically its something like Cat D write off etc. I know what they all mean just never heard it classed as a V car before.

Thanks for the replies, at the price its at I might enquire as it still looks like a bargain but we'll have to see.

Find out why its a cat d, if it is cosmetic damage and you are sure, then no problems.
Be careful, hope you get a bargain.

VCAR = Vehicle Condition Alert Report.
As stated above, means the car will show up as written off ( category A-D)or stolen recovered.
