Default V - Car ?????

Allo

Been looking at a few scoobs for me dad to buy and we have seen a few marked as V-Car what does this mean , is the an insurance thing?

it means that the car is recorded on the hpi register i.e previously damaged/repaired or stlen recovered - ahpi check on the vehicle will tell you for what reason it is recorded....

V-Car; named after the Police/DVLA V23 marker system; cars are recorded with an accident damage category (B: C: D etc). There was a time when correctly repaired cars could be removed from the V-Car register but now theyre transferred to the 'Condition Inspected' register.
