Charged VR6 - £3500 ?!?
http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/59048.htm
Seems a bit of a bargin really. R reg car, all the right spec and bits, with the added benefit of a charger. Probably running 200-230 with the potential to hit 300 I imagine.
Bargin, or bucket ?

A good friend has a Corrado Storm which he supercharged. Cost hi ma few quid to have it done aswell. Once on, he blew the engine and had to spend a good £3K getting it all fixed.
Also, the belt keeps slipping, so they had to change the pulley wheel / belt type.
It is fast, but he had to spend a good few quid to keep it running well, as things always go wrong / need fixing due to the charger.
He used a company called AMD, and as there arent many of these cars + conversions around, give them a call and see if they know it.
Insurance was a pig aswell, as VR6 + charge = ££££££££££££££££££

I had a Golf VR6 a couple of years ago, that I had supercharged. Had the conversion done by NS Racing down in London. It was fast but it ate front tyres for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Oh... and the induction roar was immense. Mine had a few running niggles, but after I had it mapped properly it ran beautifully - no problems. I still have the supercharger in my garage as I sold the car as a standard one. I was going to put the charger on a 4 motion Golf back then... but I saw the light and bought a Scooby instead!

I think the Z engineering superchargers are now defunct. Vortech,Vf racing took over doing chargers for Vws (I think) . I had a Z engineering charger on my vr6 and NS Racing said I would struggle for parts if it broke. Plus the car has a high mileage (for a charged car) . Also my engine blew up twice with the same type of charger.
