I bought a GT TDI 150 2 weeks ago and its the absolute business.
The differences between the 130 and 150 are slightly different engine internals (uprated conrods and pistons), front mounted intercooler and variable vane turbo which hike the power from 130 to 150.
The 150 also has full GTi turbo spec, including interior, alloys, brakes and stiffer suspension.
Not to mention the fact that the 150 has more torque than an Impreza and even a Porsche Boxter
Buy one, get it Revo'd for £399+vat and your looking at 200bhp and 300lb/ft

Forgot to mention, don't believe the hype!!
I drive 20 miles each way to work, with 5 miles of stop start traffic, then 10 miles of open fast A roads, then 5 miles of stop start traffic.
With the climate control on and taking it easy I average 40mpg.
With the climate control on and driving hard when I can I average 35mpg.
With the climate control off and taking it easy I average 45mpg.
With the climate control off and driving hard when I can I average 40mpg.
Whichever way I look at it, it's better than 20mpg from the Forester!
I don't know where people get 50+mpg, but I guess they have longer distances and steadier speeds on their journeys. I also guess it would be better if I wasn't constantly accelerating and doing *cough* mph!

my mapped 130 always does over 50mpg and i only live 10 miles from where i work, as i've said in the past my 130 came with most of the toys that a 150 came with but was loads cheaper and a £300 remap made mine 197bhp and 292lb/ft torque instead of the 134bhp it was as standard

We are pleased with my wifes 130bhp,but if want to pay for the 150 go for it,you may regret afterwards.
We wanted a 130 tdi, if it was my car and not the wifes I would go for the 150 tdi.

So with the climate control on and taking it pretty easy with some hard driving I averaged 47mpg!! I'm sure with the climate control off, less stop start traffic and more motorway, 50+mpg would be easy!
