Default EVO VIII MR340 V's Bug eye...

My bug eye to be precise, and over 6 launches I was ahead by 4 car lengths.....minimum
I even let him get off before me and still powered past him.....rolling was close but still managed to fend him off.

Very surprising as I thought they were lighter!

Very very gorgeous cars though......the owner is a good friend of mine who's just shelled out for one so it makes things much more interesting.

anyone else had simliar experiances?

I would expect your car with 300WHP to beat the MR340 with about 260 / 270 WHP to be honest.

What mods have you got and do you still have the WRX gearbox?

Yep, WRX gearbox...........VF34 turbo, 650cc injectre, fuel pump, GEMS ecu, full decat, anti-lag, fuel pressure regulator but like I say, safe map....untill march the 3rd

Just shocked because I didn't know what mine was running for sure but still nice to get a confident win against a great car

Don't you think I would have checked out the possibles before winning 6-0?

The car is well run-in, the driver can drive, both one up, no excuses.....toast is something I do down Mile-end road with overfueling

Evo VIII = 1400kgs
Bugeye = 1385kgs

Nothing in it unless driver weight is an issue.

i've owed impreza and an evo and the differance is vast-you get to a point in the impreza when you really have to pile the money in to get small amount's of power, you buy a evo 8 mr and for less than 1k you can knock out 400/400
