Living in the snowy part of europe it's always nice to have a 4x4 to rely on...

So I've decided to weigh in the wifes mitsubishi Spacestar for a Forester S!

Just a few things are niggling me though...

We just bought a brand new Honda tourer Type S 3 months ago so can't really stretch to buying a new Forester...

So here's the situation...

Mitsu Spacestar 2002 30 000 kms local garage has offered straight swop for a Sub Forester S 1999 42 000 kms.

Anyone think this is a daft idea? Am I doing the right thing?

Now after a quick search on t'net I can only find good things on the Forest
but my only worry is that I'm trading in a 4 year old car for a 7 year?
