Lotus Carlton - vehicle dimensions
A neighbour, who doesn't have access to internet, has asked if I could obtain the following information for him.
LOTUS CARLTON
1) Vehicle length ?
2) Vehicl width ?
He has been offered a 40,000 mile car and would like to be sure it will fit in his garage

That'd be worth a fortune! most of those have well in excess of 100,000 miles on now

Still a pretty cool car imho i would love one.
I do not know this for gospel but seem to remember some parts now out of manufacture like dampers for example, God knows what an exhaust will set you back.
I would deffo get it checked over by a specialist and/or the RAC. It is more than likely a genuine sale but it might be on the market for a good reason.
I would still like one mind!

To see one on the road is a real treat because they still look so menacing. I loved my Carlton gsi's to bits and the Lotus is alot more awesome. They can produce 500bhp very easily

I've got Russell Bulgin's (RIP) article from Car magazine about trying to max an LC on the autobahn at home somewhere. Great story. He only got to an indicated 168mph 
before rain stopped play.
Apparently 160mph comes up VERY easily, it's the last 15mph that take the time
