can't leave them alone for a second
went to elvington early saturday morning from belfast. that morning dad was leaving his citroen C2 in for a service at our local citroen dealer. now Mum and Dad aren't getting any younger and they bought a 2 dor C2 which is a nice enough wee car.
anyways i come back from York last night late and when i got home today from work Dad mentions in passing that while he was at Citroen he put a deposit down on a new C8 WTF!!!!!! had a look on the citroen site and this thing is a fecking monster. 7 seater MPV. talk about going from one extreme to the other.
he says to me, i saw a nice set of 18" alloys there too, what do you think? dread to think what citroen will charge. i think the C8 comes with 16" steel wheels. does anyone know what he will need if he moves to 18"? what is the stud pattern and PCD, offset etc.
anyone have any experience of the C8. i have read some reviews and while some are good there seems to be some horror stories out there, mostly associated with the electrics end of thing. anyone shed any light on the reliability of these MPVs
cheers

It's French. That should tell you all you need to know. Mechanically, it'll last forever but everything that doesn't make it go or stop will either fall off, refuse to work or rattle. Or probably do all 3.

roger that he doesn't actually do much driving. only put 7000 miles on the C2 from new and it's 26 months old so hopefully it shouldn't cause too many probs*
