Still looking at different options. The attraction is the rear end malarky to be had... they are also to be had for good money now. Apart from the ruinded chav specials around I've seen some clean stock 328's
Seems a great package without the M3 price overhead, this is not an out and out performance purchase BTW, a post scooby run-around on a budget.
Anyone had experience of them?

If you can, go for an e36 m3...they are not that expensive to run , and you can pick em up cheap enough now...I had one, and have driven cars costing many times the price, but very few cars come close....

I was in the same position this time last year ... looking to spend around £6k on a nice 328 sport coupe, and after a bit of research bought a 1994 3.0 M3 for £7k.
Can't comment on the 328, but the M3 is a lot of car for the money, and pretty cheap to run.
