Unhappy Yep another s0dding Oil burner thread...

Selling up and moving onto oil burner territory...

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...21#post5116221

It would appear that withing my target oil burner budget of 5k ish I have a fair few to choose from...

Tempted to pickup a Golf MK4 TDi... but the GT TDi's have come down pretty well too.... major difference between them?

Audi's look good but out of my 5k range and I can deliver more with VAG...

What would you do?

Searching now...

I used http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/ to search for a good price and ended up using Nationwide for the Grand Scenic, the prices have since dropped!!!

The other company I would recommend is skyfleetltd.co.uk they have the new Passat tdi s for £235 inc
They also have a mega deal on the 520d.

Mark, sounds too good to be true... If I can lease something that new it changes things somewhat regarding the STi... hmmm in any case I think I will look into this. So what is the buy in deposit costs.. and really all I pay is the £235? What length of term?

What is the smart buy then the Passat TDi ? 3.0 V6 TDI Quattro?!

Normal deposit is 3 months. It's a matter of searching the special offers. The 5 series is £2360k down and then the £293 pm inc vat. The Passat will be 3/12 then £235 inc vat and over 18 months. The only other cost will be a service, maintaince and insurance. Road tax should be included in the cost.

Smart money is a cheap monthly rental and keeping the STi

I have no links with any of these companies.
