There it was parked in Rickmansworth High Street this lunchtime.
Awesome looking and sounded even more awesome when it pulled out and he blipped the throttle.
First one of these I've seen on the road.

God damnit, wish I hadn't left Watford in 1998 now! Did you get a good look around it? There was one in the new Porsche garage in Hatfield a couple of weeks ago, I believe it was sold not long after being in the showroom

Spent a few minutes drooling at it............
Large brakes with yellow calipers stood out
Carbon fibre pillars for the rear wing (it looks like it goes up and down - was up when parked).
Lots of boot (?) presumably needed to cover the V10
hmmm, but that noise......................

I was working at the Autosport Show, I think it was last year, and as we were waiting for the stand guys to finish, me and a colleague were wandering around and we turn the corner and there is a CGT sitting in the middle of an aisle totally unattended and unlocked! We spent the next hour just drooling, fantastic car.

I was lucky enough to drive one for a few miles on a private track. it was a dk silver colour and looked stunning in that colour.
It looks and sounds great but myself and others found it hard to drive, it accellerates like a mad thing and that engine note!. Aparently it has a small clutch and flywheel and pullling away is an art i did not quite master. had to hold the revs around 4-6/7k and let the clutch up whilst keeping the revs up and the revs just fell away to 0 as soon as the clutch bit - you get the drift. Anyway stalled it more times than i care to remember but what a fantastic car!
That day was a good day!

Paul - 4k-plus revs to pull away?
God, imagine that in a traffic jam - with every move you'd be terrified to do a Poor Guy's Friends into the car in front, with resultant astronomical repair bills, and after a mile the fuel consumption would mean you'd need a refill !
