Default Best weekend car

Very lucky to possibly be able to spend £20-24k on a toy for weekends and kept in the garage.

My choices are Porsche 911 - going to be late 964 although really would prefer 993 which will cost a bit more it seems, or TVR Tuscan (2000 MY). Also considering an Ariel Atom (220bhp) but just not sure.

3 very different choices and just wonder what you guys think.

The Porsche is likely to be the least troublesome to own

caterham - I dont fit
Nissan - not special enough
968 CS - if it's gonna be a Porker then it has to be a 911
Lotus 340R - interesting - but down that route would prefer the Atom I think

But nobody has mentioned the TVR - are they a no go in everybody's eyes ?

Yep find the same problem - weekend car and not enough weekend to use it as much as I thought, still you don't know until you try it!!
