I think it will only strengthen values of the old MCoupe. (Damn) As they are now truly going to stay a cult car.

Doubtless the new Z4 will be technologically far superior, but it will never look as mean.

I think it will do the opposite given that I suspect it will be such a dramatic improvement over the old one, much the same as the vast improvement the Z4 is over the Z3. When the MZ4 (or whatever they're calling it) comes out, they will probably slot it into the coupe as well.

Strangely appealing - interior looks a nice place to be. Hope it's no more expensive than the soft top.

I think FCD's right - the old one will start looking... well, old. And as great the looks and engine were, the handling was iffy on the old one.

"The M version will have the E46 M3 CSL engine tuned up to 410-420 hp and 4 tail pipes of course."

Let's just assume that's speculative, shall we?

I don't think the figures are correct as the article I read suggested that the MZ4 drop top would have the current power output of the existing M3 engine. The quad tail pipes is accurate though.

I don't think they're correct simply because if someone could get an extra 70bhp out of that N/A engine, they would have done it already.

Quad pipes is hardly a feature to shout about.

Very true

Also, why do you NEED to add 70bhp to the CSL unit, when the stock M3 (e46) engine produces 343hp. Throw in the power to weight ratio of putting that engine into the lighter Z4 Coupe and you have serious potential.

The quad pipes are standard fare for all 'M' designated BMW's now aren't they? No big deal.
