Default Cheap Motor Rqd. £1000 MAX?

Not too Juicy, able to handle motorway work and last for 6-12 Months....... Easy?

Oh and cheap to fix if need be.

Any ideas?

If you're near purley/south london I have a manual 2.5 petrol omega, 97k, fsh, good condition, parts well cheap etc. for £1100.

My mum is looking at selling her Chrysler Neon 2.0 16v automatic 1997 (P-reg) with less than 70k, and I'm sure she will take around £1k for it.

Mate of mine had a diesel Polo for about 12 months so he could save some money, cracking little car and was really reliable

I bought a Saab 9000 CSE, leather, climate control, heated seats, trip computer absolutely spotless and I mean not a scratch on it, full service history for 750 quid.

Goes from Portsmouth to Bournemouth every day there and back without a grumble whilst the scoobs sits on the driveway for weekends

Plus it does 450 miles to a full tank!
