I've had endless problems with mine, from the bottom end failing, to gearboxes, suspension, batteries, clutches, flywheels, alternators, starters... the bills to repair stand at £7k in 2 years, however everyone else on the Williams owners club seems to replace brake pads and oil and the rest is spent on bloody trackdays and mods... so I think I was just unlucky. What I would say is make sure you do your homework on them as there are loads of things to look out for. Once you look past all that though as a drivers car I've never had so much fun, it really is unbeatable for fun around the bends and has decent power as standard... although these engines come to life with a cam around a 260 duration and a suitable remap!

Mines been fine too, should be reliable if you find a looked after one.
Had mine 2 years and had the bearings go in the box, which is probably due to me modding the car with cams etc. I am sure it would of lasted a bit longer if it was left standard.
Excellent cars for track work
Here's mine

Partner had a Williams 2 as a co car for a while. Had all the build quailty of an Airfix kit.
Performance and handling where OK i suppose but would never set the world alite.
I would rather have a Civic VTI
