56K beware - '89 Mini rebuild project now done.... 'cept a few bits ;)
Finally got this '89 mini "Flame Red" 998cc back on the road.... lots of blood sweat and swearing.
new wings, a-panels, front panel and front end respray on the drive (!!), new rear subframe, dampers all round, steering rack, clutch, sexy 'zorst, new windscreen, new suspension cones/trumpets/knuckle joints all new ignition etc etc etc etc - and some nice ice..... long old job... but it's fun now!

Nice to see a proper one these days, as opposed to the big lump now called a Mini, piloted by trendy persons with an Ipod in every orifice, proper Mini drivers have oily hands and a look of grim determination (and terror) on their faces.

that looks mint mate,got a mate who`s well into mini`s though more the big power lets take the **** outta some fast cars side of them he`s got this mini as his occasional car (150bhp at the wheels)
