Default any know anything about mondeo clutches?

as above-if u say yes- on a 98 plate one can you adjust them etc?

No mate you cant...There hydraulic..They have an internal hydraulic bearing which cant be played with..

If its slipping you gotta change it!!

Be prepared for a fair bill...Mondeo clutches aint an easy or cheap repair..

According to Dr Haynes, the hydraulic clutch is self adjusting. It looks like the only adjustment is to the stroke of the pedal, which may or may not help.

It is a fair bit of work to swap a mondeo clutch, but not impossible.

mondeo clutches are a nightmare to do and i wouldn't change another one, not worth the money to do the job.

Think about £300-£350 will see it done,inc new hyd release bearing..
Theres a lot of messing about to do one,inc dropping the engine cradle..just a general pain all round..

only seems to slip tho between about 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm after that it seems ok-so could it be clutch peddle adjustment?

If its slipping in gear I doubt its clutch pedal tbh, especially being hydraulic.

There is no adjustment, pedal or otherwise! You need a new clutch. As above, they're a pain in tharse and expensive!

tell me about it-yet bodywork wise etc its a minter-i just hope but cant see it that it has something to do with the cambelt snapping-cant see it tho-guess i will let a mechanic take a drive in it get there opinion then it looks like a new clutch-oh well-lifes a bitch then u marry one!
