That is a Mosler and by the looks of it an MT900R. Between $149,000 and $159,000 USD. They're doing rather well in GT Racing and American Le Mans Series.

Have they gone bust then?
I know they stopped producing the GT as Porsche said it looked too much like the GT1 but I thought they were still producing the GTS www.farboud.com

They never did produce the GT it was just a prototype car that Arash and his brother made. Are they planning on racing in the Gum Ball or was it just a show car?

LOL I know what you mean Nat most of them do look poo, the Farboud GTS has got a nice shape, but as Wes said a lot of these little car manufactures are getting the cars 0-60’s down to 5 seconds …..

Personal choice i guess, none of these cars are at all practical or intended for road use (other than to drive to a track and back), why not just buy an old Formula Ford or other propper race car and save a lot of money. How many 0-100 sprints would it take to get bored of doing it.....or before it started to fall to bits/break down...

see what your saying, though these cars are built for one thing, to go as fast as the fastest supercars (well faster), and they cost 1/6th of what they do, got to be a compramise somewhere!
I reckon 0-100 in under 6 seconds will take a fair while to 'get used to'!

lol, why would you want to drive all the way to Le Mans in an uncomfy, impractical Fugly beast like that I can understand driving it to a track to actually drive it on the track which is what they're intended for though...i.e not to le mans.
Each to their own though, i think they're **** and wouldn't be seen dead in one unless on a track....and yes i've had the chance to ride in/drive a couple (one ultima and one similar but never heard of it before or since type thing) and turned it down.

The car is a Farboud GT ... mental mental motor.
We were behind it as it was entering the Gumball enclosure on Saturday. Never seen anything accelerate like that did - sounds crazy also!
I believe the guy driving it is the owner of the Farboud company
