Hi All

Got a friend with an S plate clio 1.2 ... with a snapped cambelt !
(not bad really as it managed ~ 6 years )

Been checked over and quoted 'bout £585 for:

a new belt
4 replacement valves
oil/filter change ...

Is it worth doing tensioners on these things ?? ... anythingelse ?

Is an 8-year-old 1.2 Clio really worth spending £600 on?

.. good point, but there are those of us that have spent a great deal more on cars worth a *lot* less ....
