My pub car is dead, need another.
My poor old AX smoker has met a sticky end. The result of a Mondeo driver apparently "not seeing me".
Shame, it was a real gooder as well. For the price of a good night out, it provided filthy cheap transport, took literally tonnes of building rubble and crap to the tip, and was entertaining, surprisingly comfy and trouble free to boot. Disposable cars are the future, I love 'em. Missing it badly already.
But every cloud has a silver lining. The insurance should pay out more than I handed over, so once again I can endulge in my favourite hobby: car buying. And this time, i should have an absolute fortune to spend: maybe even over £500..
So suggestions please. Personally I'm for another Axe, or a 205 XS, unless you know better...??

Bad luck, still, think of it as an opportunity...I had a 205 xs for a while, cracking wee car. Faster than a Saxo VTR, which is handy when you want to p!ss off a chav in your dodgy looking old peugeot...

Ironic that it says Debut on the side.
Just do a search on the autotrader website for another based on distance, go and offer peanuts, in the meantime strip anything off that one that may be of use.
I spent a month is a 106, was fairly horrid but so cheap to run, got left open everywhere and even owners of big 4*4's defer to a car that the owner so obviously doesnt give a **** about.
Does show how flimsy the AX is though, look at the roof !
