Wasn't one of those on 5th gear this week? The owner took it on a track which had a path cleared through about 2 feet of snow. He then proceeded to crash it into the barrier

Pah. Any Scooby would have it in the twisties. Mind you, less chance of one of those ending up in a lake.

Quite how I would have held a camera, focus, and not crash would have been a miracle.

I actually think it looks better than the Enzo and the interior looks finished rather than thrown together.

Can't afford the wheel nuts on either though

Wow - great scoop! I suspect these photos will circulate a bit.

I sat in one of these a few months ago. Strangely surreal experience! Felt every bit the racer.

Yea as already mentioned, there was one of those on 5th Gear the other night, had that long curly haired **** presenter in the passenger seat from 5th gear, maybe that’s the same bloke that was on the show?

Yup - he took it to a very snowy Cadwell Park. I accept the school of using supercars and not hiding them away in Museums - that's what Goodwood FoS is all about.

BUT how can it be fun to try and drive any supercar in the snow? Perhaps he just wanted to be on TV again

Davyboy - lucky catch BTW

Car mags are not enthuisiastic in the reviews I read.

Cynical homologation special badge-engineering exercise carried out on an Enzo.

It's true that Maserati has received a lot of stick regarding the homologation issue. IIRC though the MC12 will be taking part in the American Le Mans Series but isn't eligible to score points as it's too wide.

Reviews haven't been that harsh regarding the car itself but you do have to take into account a price of £515,000. As said, there's a hell of a lot you can spend that sort of money on instead.

Carrera GT and nearly £200k left to spend on . . . . . .

Thumbs up

IIRC the bloke on top gear had an enzo aswell.

He also bought Shuey's F1 car from ferrari for a ridiculous sum and he races it apparently.

Sounds like he's living the dream.
