Audi A4 Avant 2.5 TDi.. Anyone got one?

I've heard the statement a few times that they're not much quicker than the 1.9 TDi but are thirstier so a chipped 1.9 might be a better option, but I don't have any first hand experience.

Father in law just bought one, havent had a go yet, will report back, seems he is already having problems, cant wait to gloat seeing as he found it amusing when my Rover conked out !

Good practical cars. I test drove one with the sports package (handling, etc) and it really didn't feel as much fun as I was expecting. I'd say the best package for the audi camp is the 1.9 TDI quattro sport, as that way you're not paying a premium for something that the car isn't - if you see what I mean.
The BMW is crap in the snow, but if you don't fancy one then really don't take a test drive: I didn't want to like the car, but after a test drive, well...
