Saw one on the road yesterday. Crazy looking thing, I couldn't help but follow it for a while just to take in the looks. Was amazed how dinky it was!

Yeah it's an awesome looking machine.

The driver in the video is only 20 years old!

The video was shot in one day around Surrey and London by a friend, apparently some of the tracking shots where done with him tied to the back of a Catherham and others where achieved by hanging out the window of a BMW.

Love that car!
Its reckoned build quality is better with the Russian in charge. Also comes with 3 years warranty now.
4 year old Porsche Turbo or brand new Sagaris, interesting question( ie about the same price)

well have to say: awesome machine, spec and road presence-
Would LOVE one (in black please Jim!)
Clearly an animal of a car- would have been far more impressed to see it tearing up the nearest track..

BUT (flame suit ON)

Caning it around that town centre- NOT a cool thing to do imho
what a D1ckhead- there could have been anyone walking off that pavement..

The driver is 20 years old?
Hm- clearly needs a few words in his shell..

I'm afraid there are things in life I would find a no brainer that you may not even understand( and vice versa of course).

Its obviously not a no brainer as that would mean there are going to be zero sales of Sagaris or the second hand value of 996 turbos will fall to about £20k in the next few months as everybody buys a Sagaris.

I think you will agree that neither of the above examples is true, so it is NOT a no brainer. I would still be interested in your opinion though minus the stupid smilies!!!

Deep

ps as for the driver I d'ont know his age but is a racing driver and seemed in control of the vehicle. I more concerned by some idiot driving at 20mph, applying make up and talking on the mobile phone

IMO it is quite a 'big deal' but you are right in that it's based on the T350.

Also roll cage, different suspension. Meant to handle much better. Apparantly its tested in this months Autocar.
In a world where performance cars are looking increasingly boring ie 996/997/Boxster/M5/RS4 /Evos even the Gallardo(imho), its just refreshing to see a in ya face no holds barred brute. And unlike the gorgeous Fezza 430 its actually in a British road friendly size.

Oi!!!!

I will not have a bad word said about the Gallardo - I'll have a black one please.
The 997 IMHO is a bit tastey too.

It is great to see TVR still producing hairy-chested machines. It is also a great relief to see the the Russian influence seems to be moving the company in a good direction. As commented, build quality and reliability issues are being addressed which will hopefully only strengthen the company's ability to manufacture more brightly coloured bruisers.

How the hell do they work that out???

Limited mileage? Just because the ******* like to nick so many Imprezas?

This was just a standard policy

Hit the nail on the head, Impreza highly nickable and they get crashed a lot.

Doesn't seem right really.

The only thing that would make me less likely to bend the TVR would be my nervous wallet.

As Racing Green TVR is located about 50 yards from the primary school where my 5 year old goes, I think I'll pop in tomorrow and have a word with the owner about his staffs "enthusiastic" driving.
I've seen 3 or 4 instances now where a TVR has lit up the rear wheels coming off the roundabout between the showroom and the school, at picking up/dropping off time so loads of small kids about, and that video is enough for me.
Time and a place and all that.

As for the car, awesome!
