106 Diesel - what oil?

106 Diesel - what oil?
Bit of a random question I know...
Anyone know what oil I should put in a '94 106 XND? I've got some Castrol GTX 10w40 that I was advised would be ok so figured I would use that. Its not semi synthetic or anything is it? I've had a quick google but no luck.
(In case anyone was wondering why I'm asking this here, its cos I'm borrowing the car off a friend while I get a new front end put on my broken Scoob)

Yes 10W40 is the correct grade of diesel oil for the 1.4 106 diesel. My gf has one and thats what the instruction manual says to use.
