when the scoob goes...?
it cant be mine for ever, lol
so what takes my fancy?
cant help but think Id like an RX7, lightweight, phenominal stoppers, weekend toy only?
or an ITR, certain aura about it in the champ. white with the huge redline capabilities, but is it fairly maxxed out already?
Skoda octavia VRS (?) would be a good day to day with capabilites to have weekend fun, but is it tunable?
or, take a company car option (or buy a daily nail) and keep the scoob as a track toy for donkeys years (till depreciation no longer a consideration).
not really constructive, more my ramblings but where do I go.
I wouldnt head over to evo or skyline as Ive done the japanese 4x4 turbo thing for a while now

Ask JBS to sell you their Octavia demo. 400hp 400+ lb/ft 2 bar spike 12 second 0-100, 6 speed box LSD etc. Bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Probably cost £20000+ though, but worth every penny !
Other than that, you could get a nice FABIA vRS for £10000, then buy a crazy caterham for track days !!!

true enough, Ive got to have my scooby blinkers removed by about November so will be trawling the market just before.
thing about the dc5 is that its import only so insurance is a real stinger

Someone on here before mentioned the Fabia VRs and a chip you can get for it that frees up a bit more power & torque. Quite like the sound of that, but I think an ITR would be a preferred choice - even if its not as sensible! See a few about now and then, nice motor.

I know I should be very sensible but I would miss the road holding and performance of the Impreza - I'm on my second and my third 4x4 saloon - and my third grey import.
Maybe keep the Impreza and have a "sensible" alternative ??? Like a diesel.
