Default Vectra V6 plug leads..............

My Dad's mate has been quoted £300+ for them replaced
I've done a quick search online and found Splitfire items for £130. How much should he expect to pay for non-performance ones of a good quality?

Try an independent Vauxhall Specialists. I dont remember the exact cost when I had them done but it wasnt cheap.

vaux original are actually the best - and are also considered a non-service item along with the plugs ... go figure ... lifetime motoring from one set of leads and plugs? maybe ... but I know I would rather be paying the £3 each for the plugs every 12k ...

'Autovaux' are the guys to go to ... if I had a number handy I'd give it ...

i changed the coil pack and leads on my mates GSi last monday, parts cost £150 all in, and i charged him £50 to do it.

vauxhall wanted £260 to just do the coil pack.

oh,

coil pack was £100 and o/e fit leads where £30 both from my local motor factors (in which i get trader's discount as well!)

Vauxhall supply them in packs of 3 ... at either £95 or £120 for a pack ( I passed out when he told me so my memory's a bit fuzzy around this point ... ) ... so double it to replace a complete set ....

These are the guys (as mentioned above)

http://www.autovaux.co.uk/

You may need to sit on the phone 'cos they can be buggers to get hold of sometimes - but WELL worth it
