Mistu Shogun info/owners review anyone ?
I'm seriously considering selling my 00MY turbo and going to a 99 T plate V6 SWB Mitsu Shogun 3.0 V6 with just 15K on the clock. They go exceptionally well with the petrol lump and will probably return the same MPG as well as having excellent prescence.
I love the scoob, but I'm constantly worried about something expensive happening and although I've had it 18 months and its been excellent, I dont knwo how much longer I should keep it.
Anyone got any stories about the Shogun ? (My missus also dislike the look/asscoiation with the scoob, but likes the Mitsu)

Hi,
My dad ran a 96N Shogun SWB 3.0 V6 Auto for 3 years a while back. It was an excellent car, and went from 40k to 95k without a problem. It was still on its original exhaust when it was sold!
One thing to watch out for are hideously expensive parts (how does £150 for a brake disc sound?) and crappy dealers. Fuel economy hovered between 18ish round town and 25ish on a run.

i traded a swb shogun for my scoob it was the 3.0 v6 auto red over silver nice looking car, getting people in out of the back seats is bit awkward and it certainly used more fuel than my sti, i felt it was a really bouncy ride so much that other people noticed and commented on it had it ,checked out and it seems they are all like that the lwb is more stable,if you buy from a dealer make sure the torch and tool kit are in the back.oh and there is no real boot space just about coped with the weekly shopping or at a push some golf clubs look good with the chrome a bar and side steps.

Cheers for the replies folks.
It is a red over silver I've seen. 1 owner, full MSH and all the tools etc in the back door panel. It was even kept in a heated garage but only used as a 3rd car.
I'll have to take it out for a longer run and try the ride quality again.
