Default Extended Warranty.........

My wife owns a Cooper, one of the first build, just had its first MOT. It's a pretty well sorted little car. It's fully loaded with Chilli Pack, Sports Susp, Mini Spots.....etc..anyway......

Warranty runs out today and I can't make my mind up whether or not it's worth £350 quid to renew it.
The car has probably had 4k+ on warranty work to date (3k of that down to a rivet!!!!!), so I am kind of thinking that all that's going to go wrong has done by now.

Have people found Exteneded warranties generally worth it?

£350 for 1 year or 2? Even for 1 year thats not bad value (6.73 per wk) and I doubt £350 would cover lifting the bonnet on a repair

like most things, its a risk that you take or not.

Just say you dont take out the warranty, and the same problem occurs again.
This time you will have to find the 4K.

£350 is nothing, its also good peace of mind. I would deffinatly take out the warranty.

As far as I know it's the full warranty extended, after next year it reduces what it covers, and increases in price
I think I have decided to go for it, £6.73 per week swung it for me

Don't really know why I haven't just done it, anyway I wil re-new tommorrow
Must be the fact that I am a tight Jock
