After braking my Pug 205TD work hack im thinking of wiping the slate clean and getting another Golf.
I need a turbo diesel as I have 80 mile round trip to work.

So I would prefer a mark 2 GTD but these are very rare, how do the mark 3 TDi's drive?
What kind of milage can they do?
What kind of price should I pay?

I dont want a mint example but it has to be reliable and relativly clean.

You can get a mk3 for around a couple of grand now but dont mistake the 1.9 td umwelt because they are dead slow (75bhp)make sure it is the Tdi 90bhp because this uses the direct injection engine and is a lot quicker and about 10mpg more economical
