Default E34 535 Sport

Anyone had one of these?

Seen a low mileage one I fancy the look of, manual as well...

Do they have a cam belt or a chain, I think its a chain, if so, is it an engine out job to replace?

Thanks in advance

They have a cam chain. I was looking at getting one of these recently but they weren't as quick as I'd thought

Not to bothered about the performance, I leave that to the bike..

Just seems a lot of car for the £££££ , and the condition and mileage are tempting me to make a purchase.....

Had one in the family for about 10 years a while back. It's got the standard 535 engine (218bhp?). The differences are cosmetic (bodykit, wheels, very nice seats).

If it's got the original alloys (Fuchs, forged, very attractive) you can only fit Michelin TRX tyres (special won't-run-off-the-tyre-in-a-blowout thingies) which are fearsomely expensive. A lot of people switched to the standard 535 alloys which give you a lot more choice.

Do it, you won't regret it.

Just a bit heavy on the juice, but absolutley bullet proof.

300K no worries.

having a look Saturday.

Not to worried about the cost of fuel, my weekly "commute" works out at 15miles a week..

I thought the sport had thicker anti-roll bars etc....?

Good point bout the tyre/wheel combination...Will check that out

The car in question has done 60K on a "H" plate and looks gleaming

trouble is ive gotta sell my e30 2 door 325SE to get it, which is pretty special itself(been in the family since 1997, only done 70K)

Cheers
