I have driven a few of them as courtesy cars... the TDCi... and the 1.25 mainly.

Both were nice cars to drive, felt like a Focus, and very accomodating. Even the LX comes with a decent bit of kit IIRC, CD player, Electric Windows/Mirrors, Heated Screens Front and Back, and think one of them had A/C too.

Cheers,
Grant

My parents have a 1.4 and I thought it was alot more refined than the previous model Fiesta. As mentioned before its like a mini-Focus, much more of a big car feel to the way it runs.

Certainly its no performance car but as a day to day workhorse its a very good package, TDCi mpg is especially impressive.......

Thanks for the replies

i was hoping to get a 1.6 but the're only available new (£10k+) - whereas a 1.4 04 plate is £7K (saving £2.5K on new) - all depends how much i'll get for my car though :-(

Cheers wakeboardar - it's the newer shape fiesta i'm looking for - just a basic 1.4 zetec thing which won't stand out so i can leave it parked without worrying too much
