Hiya

Do you mean "Wheeler Dealers" where Mike Brewer buys an old knackered car then his mechanic mate "Edd" fixes it up. Then Mike tries to sell it on for a profit. I have become really addicted to the series, though there seems no logic to when its on (ie not the same time every day etc)
Its on home & leisure channel so just look up in the TV listings.
The 205 GTi one was a couple of nights ago - never thought they would get that going properly ! Seems to be a limited number as they are re-running them already after only a few weeks (the green mini one I have seen a couple of times now) The 205 one is my fave.
You can get some on DVD....http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...2.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Yes - rather a long post on http://forums.205gtidrivers.com resulted.

Its shockingly inaccurate, crap car, paid to much for, plant for the new buyer as its way to high priced, and generally just very bad.

However, Mike bigging up the 1.9 is rather nice

The thing I didn't understand is how come it was pouring out smoke on the drive home but this turned out to be the gearshift....

Hmmmmm

As you say it was a bit of a heap and he paid far too much for it.

Indeed - perfectly healthy car - its obvious smoke comes from a gear linkage

If you check the credits, the programme has an unseen mechanic too, although Ed China is the guy that builds them road legal motorised setees, garden sheds and skips.

Addicted to Wheeler Dealers myself, watched all the first series and I've watched the first two so far as well.
Had to take my mother-in-law home last tuesday, she'd just come out of hospital weekend before but it was like something out of a film, get near her house, car door open and she gets kicked out while car is still moving so I can get home in time to watch it!!
First series was good, what cars where they again, mini, merc, capri, golf, was there any more.
How tall is ED as well!!

Anybody watch American Hotrod, there's some talented guys.

Rock on Turbo Tuesdays!!!!
