Default Would you swap?

I've been offered this supra for my vts: see links below

Obviously I need to see the car but would you even be tempted?

Mine's done 47500 miles and has a brand new cam belt and SS zorst plus what you see in the pic.

I had the previous shaped Supra and did enjoy it but it puts me back in the league of **** mpg and high service costs.

What you lot reckon?

Not sure about the colour or those sideskirts with those wheels but it's probably a better car than the saxo. It'll be cheaper to run than the turbo one though

Hello mate,

It looks ok, but it certainly wont be 280bhp and the skirts aren't veilside (my skirts are veilside, so you can see the difference in this thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=377659).

Also, I'm not sure what makes it 'rare' as it's not an aerotop. Plus you would want to spend on alloys straight away !

I'm a member of mkivsupra.net, and there is this NA Aerotop currently available http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthr...threadid=27968.

(In no way affiliated, but just showing you what is there for the money).

All the best

Matt

Yeah, I agree that the price isn't that cheap, especially needing some minor work. And the Saxo is immaculate for the year. I was also wary of the 280bhp claim. After all, one bit of bullsh!t makes you wonder about the whole car

Then realising that you couldn't because you spent all your cash on fuel

I'd avoid that. Manual non-turbo, rare and sought after - LMFAO!!!!

Yeah, the more I think about it the less I fancy it. I'd much rather something that was good for motorways and lively without being thirsty for the sake of it. My series 3 Supra used to do 15mpg, on a good day

Nice idea but sod that
