Talking to a bloke who owned a standard Lupo 1.4 Diesel at TSL on Friday, who was having it mapped there, dont know the standard spec of a Lupo but he said that when TSL finish mapping it, his car would have about 110bhp and 182lb/ft of torque. Thats a lot of torque.

Standard is 75bhp and 147lb ft for the 1.4 TDi.

So theres a lot of torque already. It shows that theres a lot of tuning options for diesel cars now, not like the old days where they where loud, slow and spluttery.

Go up a size and get an Ibiza/Fabia/Polo with the 1.9PD 130 engine and a remap will give close to 190bhp and 330lbft.

Jabba's custom maps pass all emmission and smoke tests.

You only get smoke if you up the fuel to high in relation to boost.
