Best place to buy a Fabia VRS
I'm going to try and get a test drive at a local dealers over the next few days. If all goes well, I need to find the cheapest place to buy one - the only problem being that I need to part ex the wife's Corsa Life 1.0L...
Does anyone know of any good (cheap!!) places - will go for an import/demo no probs - but want more than £3k for the car...It HAS to be worth £4k
Any ideas?

Depends where you are, but start with my mate Steve Cantrell. He works for Gordon Lamb Skoda as a Sales Executive, and just say Andrew Murphy has recomended you - but the dealership is in Chesterfield, derbyshire. 01246 221100

Rainworth also have a highly modified 230bhp Fabia vRS Diesel but want an unbelievable £14995 for it and it's an 04 with 20kmiles.
Buy an new import from nearby Motorpoint and you will have £4000 to spend on mods.
Cheers

That's my point - I can get a UK Fabia for £11,990 OTR
Thought imports would be a good deal cheaper (My Scoob was)

as far as i am aware all skodas are imported anyway, because they are not british cars. you can get a good deal if you sit the salesman down and tell them what you want and that your in the position to buy it there and then.
i went into my local dealer the other week and he started the car on the road for 10695 then worked upwards for extras.

What I meant was an unofficially imported Skoda.
My Scoob is not built in the UK, and was destined for Holland...I saved £1500
My old Golf GT TDI 130 was also grey imported from Holland and I saved LOADS more than that - about £3k...
