Had a good look around for the wifes new car and had to dismiss most of the cars she likes due to the fact there all 2 seaters, or really cramped in the back, even for kids, so I have been looking at perhaps a 3-4 year old sports saloon, ie M5, Jag and saw a 12 month old S6 saloon at a dealers which she really liked but was too much money, can these be had for £15k,

I know it will have to be a higher milage car but is it worth looking at, and if so wheere are they, I have looked on Autotrader, the cheapers was £19k, ebay dont have any for sale and the Audi dealer website were are listed for big money.

Whats annoying is that somewhere in the UK there is a guy thats desparate to sell his S6 for not a lot of money, but no takers coz its a big engined car, and theres me with money waiting......

Don't think you'll be able to get one of these (S6) for 15K.. What about:

S4 Avant possibly - though it might be a high miler
A8 4.2 Quattro - Bigger car, stealthy, bit of kick

M5 / 540i might be possible, nice cars..

AMG Merc? C Class (C36?) - Dunno how much these are, but autotrader should help you out on that!

You just listed the motors that are currently on my shopping list. Missed a fantastic 540i Sport (its gotta be the sport) last weekend...

Doesn't the GS300 Lexus come in a Sport too ?

If so, I'd take a look at those as they can be had for sensible money, good levels of kit, and just as reliable ?
