Avoid these guys at all costs. Recently had my VW serviced there. They charged me for something I didn't authorise and have refused to refund me. The service manager Andy was rude and unhelpful. I don't have the time to pursue it, but I hope I can spare someone else the pain.

Bought a golf off these people (heavy spec)

They did some warranty work on it for me....I drove it out the dealership and the speedo was not working. Weird I thought....took it back in, they fixed it. Got home and looked in the boot.....somebodys weekend away clothes.

Was going to stick them on for TWOC...but could'nt prove it. Moral of story..take your VW work to Whites at Camberley...golf enthusiast mechanics and good honest hard working people.

Report them to VW head office (they are always keen to followup the reports like this), just mention you are thinking of letting the local papers know.
I've only had a couple of dealings with them when I owned an Audi A3, but would reitterate with both your posts, I wouldn't let them service/repair any VW/Audi of mine if they were the last dealership on planet earth !.
Another vote for Whites, they were always top notch for me.

How did you pay??

If done via CARD then phone the card company and tell them they have taken money for something you have not authorised
