If I win the lottery....
I'm going to buy an Aston Martin DB9
Saw one on the M25 tonight - what a stunning car. Metallic black with a right smug looking git driving it (and so would I be if I was driving it ). The pictures really do not do it justice. There isn't a bad angle on that car - it looks amazing (Chris Bangle,, BMW and 'flame surfacing' please note - your cars look crap from most angles).
Anybody got a spare £120K they could lend me?

I saw a v12 vanquish on the way into work this morning - sounded mint even just ticking over at the traffic lights.
There is an aston garage just up the road from work. Was driving behind a red db7 last week and guy booted it. Caught him up due to traffic and he started weaving all over the road like schuey behind a safety car lol.
Simon.

There are some lovely cars available at the moment, but the DB9 is very special. I know they are owned by Ford these days, but it is nice to see a basically English company still turning cars as good as any manufacturer in the world.

Lottery win =
Merc SL 55 AMG for poncing about the city
Audi RS6 Avant Plus to take to the chalet in Chamonix
Porsche 996 Turbo for the weekend (rather than a DB9 though a 360 CS would come close)
Porsche Carrera GT for the track

Thanks Mark - I'll hold you to that
This would only be one on my cars though. Would need to make room for the Porsche GT2 with Ruf engine upgrade, Zonda, Enzo, Carrera GT.... Oh bugger, I better win the lottery twice

me and a freind was going for a nice ride out as you do, we come across a sl55 amg, i chased it for about 15 miles lol, and got him to show its power.
dont ever race one !, is the advice i can give, we had a chat at the lights and i said we were car fanatics etc, and we would like to see you car go on full chat.
he said follow me to the roundabout, and ill takeoff from the slip, i knew this roundabout as its on my way home.
so he let us follow , to the roundabout, then we got on to the slip road, and ill be honest.
this thing went like a brute.
amazing, my car was a r19 16v, k&n back box etc not that slow, i put my foot down, and we could not see him.
it was nice to see real power vs toy power.
