Are rear drums and shoes easy to replace
I have a VW Golf TD Estate and the rears are drums.
I can change pads and discs on the scoob piece of pi$$.
Drums looked more complicated though.
Can anyone give me a feel for difficutly and any pointers to watch out for? Don't want to take it apart and find I can't put it back together again.
Damian.

They can be tricky, springs and stuff everwhere! You need to be carefull doing the wheel bearings up too on those I think...they don't go tight.
With brakes I'd say if you're not confident, don't do it!
What you need is a local trained mechanic to watch over you
