A rather affluent, late twenties/early thirties businessman decides to buy a nice new Lamboghini Murcielago. He has 3 points for speeding on his licence, 7 years NCD and keeps the car on his drive behind wall with extensive security around the property and obviously its in a very swish postcode. He will do maybe 7000 miles a year in the car and it is valued at around £150k.
Rouhgly, how much will this purely ficticious gentleman pay in insurance?
i know for a fact a 360F1 can be insured by a 30 year old with 7yrs ncb with 0 points for a grand so I doubt it would be *that* much more....
Maybe double....
The Autocar hack Chris Harris who bought a Gallardo with his own money said he was paying something like £3k for 6000 miles a year. He is under 30 and not exactly low risk.
