Default Pug 306 Rallye question.

Does the Rallye come as standard with a Thatcham cat 2 immobiliser?

stage 3 cars, will have cat 1 alarm and immoboliser same as the gti-6 from 99 onwards so depends on what car you are looking at, you had to request the cat 1 certificate though they didnt dish them out unless you asked.

had a 99 xsi and the cat 1 certificate.

earlier cars had a cat 2, and earlier than that had a kepyad in the centre console

As far as I am aware, the standard fit alarm was never approved by Thatcham, even though the imobiliser was.

The phase 1 306s used the keypad immobilser, but they stopped being made in 97, and after that it was done using a transponder on the key. I'm not aware of any rallyes that are full phase 3, most are a mix and match of phase 2 and phase 3 pieces.

Don't think any Rallye's had the keypad, they disappeared when the facelifted version came out in '96 I thought.
Only the GTi-6 was made in pre-facelift style.

Personally thought the keypad was a great idea. You can't just steal the keys that way.

My 99S Rallye didn't have a keypad. I had the Pug keypad in my 106 Rallye and found it a pain in the **** to be honest. Not surprised they've kicked it into touch.

Get the GTI-6, the rallyes have got the poo seats, not the lovely half leather. Loved mine, excellent car, awesome brakes,

The Rallye never came with an alarm for starters and also there were no phase 3 Rallye's ever!

Rallyes were only made in late phase 306 shape during 99? I could be wrong!
But it was a short limited run,

Get the GTI-6
Not me buying - it's my bud from work. He's been looking for a GTi-6 for 3 months without any luck. Loads of dogs around He came across this rallye and loved it, so the deal was done
