Default Vauxhall Astra GSI

My brother is thinking of buying an Astra SRI Turbo - about 2 years old - I believe they were superceded by the GSI...
Anyway - anyone owned one or had a go of one? Whats it like?
Usual kind of info sought - Performance, Feel, Residuals, Relaibility etc etc...

Will the Abdabz brothers be having fun fun fun from traffic lights or down country lanes, or will the Astra turbs be way off the scent of the scoob?

Advice please...

Yeap the astra sri turbo was replaced by the GSi, thae main diffrence is the bodykit and the options that were avalible on the GSi. the GSi looks a whole lot meaner with that bodykit on it, however the engine was unchanged and drives exactly the same.
really quick car in a straight line but seems at times the chasis can't cope with the power.
NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS A SCOOB IN THE TWISTYS...
good luck and try and find a later GSi for the same money if you can..

i think the GSI also has revised suspension over the SRI, and less crashy i'm told. Sold mine recently and thought it was a good package for the price, i'd give it 7/10
