Default Vauxhall Zafira GSI Turbo

Anyone got any experience with a Zafira GSI?
I mean in term of performance? (Handling, power delivery, efficiency…)
Of course, considering it's a van…

Cheers!

IMHO A Forrester Turbo/XT is a better car unless you need the 7 seats.

I took a test drive in one for the missus, and it was an absolute hoot to drive. It must have been how Mr T felt when driving that big van!!!

There is a website, one of these internet buy sites that will do one new for 15k. Could well have been micronet.

its a shocking car...test drive a 307 sw- not as fast but handles better (like a car) so A-B is just as quick. Also looks better and has a cool glass roof.

YOU WILL NOT LOOK COOL IN A VAN so dont bother paying extra thinking you will!

Ermm, I should really test drive one. At least on the paper it looks not too bad…

I guess you’re right, reality could be a lot different!

Thanks Anyway!

The lady has a 03 Silver GSI. We use it with all the seats couple of times a month and drive into London every day in it. Load it up with rubbish for the tip.

Yes it is a Vauxhall, but this car is good great all round car and even I dont mind driving it. All the bits including cruise, Looks better than most other types of MPV...and it dont go bad either.

Well worth a look

Great, a positive feedback!

Well, I guess, I really need something big (second kid on the way) but I do not want to be in a disadvantage position against the first GTI…

What other car would you recommend considering performance and lot of room (boot and passengers)?

Nothing else in the bracket ££££

We selected this as better all round value than a ML CDI

yep it was better ML £ 32,000 GSI £ 16,000

We sold a 02 LandRover Disco which had the 7 seats but was a heap, spent more time in the dealership than on the road.

The VW thingy that looks like the Vauxhall is rated OK but will be more ££

Give it a go

Apparently the new Zafira will have 2litre twin turbo with over 230ps but its not available till next year

I may consider the OPC Zafira as a used option but if your buying new I would not exclude Neils choice but aim a little higher with the New Forester Sti

Mothers got a 2.2ltr Zafira, rarely used with all the seats up, get's used as a means of carrying crap most of the time, cheap to run, reliable, not scared to use it, lokks like every other car on the road, does what it says on the tin!!

Really nice, well built 7 seater, try and get a nearly new vauxhall ex-fleet car with under 10k on it with all the extras that someone else has paid for! like sat/nav flip down dvd/tv screeen in the back to keep the kids quiet!
Nice bus well worth considering.
Best selling mpv in the country.
(sorry i work for vauxhall a bit bias!!)
but a graet car all the same...
