Default Omega owners forum / battery drain

Anyone know where I can get advice on vauxhall omegas?

The (new) battery on mine is draining out and I think I've sourced it (using a mulitmeter) to the circuit where the info display/radio/interor lamps is. The lamps are all ok and not on, the info display shouldn't drain much so all I can think of is the radio (standard one) or something else on the circuit not listed in the fuse section of the manual.

Anyone any ideas/tips to solving this?

Try checking to see if the sun visor vanity mirror light(if fitted to your model) is iluminated when the cover is down. It's quite a common problem on Carltons/Senators and Omegas! If you can't tell if it's on or not remove the bulbs and see if it cures the problem.

Mac.
