new car for the g/f. what about....
the saxo vtr or vts? they seem cheap enough and parts will obviously easy to get a hold of, but what are they like and is it more worthwhile searching for the vts over the vtr?
thanks
thanks

Both cars are great fun, Ive had both and still have a VTS as a second car at the moment.
The insurance is much higher on the VTS (group 14 compared to group 7) but there is a very significant increase in performance also.
Great handling fun little cars. Ive had no problems with mine other than a replacement alternator in 3 years.
Mine is up for sale (silver 2001 VTS £5795) as I cant afford to run it as well as the scoob now.

thanks m8. just done a wee quick check on insurance for her. we are looking at a yaris t-sport also, but there isn't much diff in price and the yaris is a group 7 too. i mean not much price diff from the vts believe it or not. she'd have to go for a trade in on her own though as there's outstanding credit on her own motor at the mo.
