There goes the arguement about Skodas not being desirable enough to be stolen. They're not low key enough either it seems these days...

I'm in the area, will keep 'em peeled.

... unless you buy a 4x4 'taxi estate' like I have. Little danger of theft but don't drive around Xscape at midnight on a Friday or everyone will pile in and demand to be driven to Netherfield.

Now that's a thought but, drunken bints + MK roundabouts + 220bhp = the kind of mess in the back seat that I wouldn't have in mind...

Thats crap news about the stolen car - seems nothing is safe from chavvy scum.

Flat 4x4 - your mention of Netherfield made me chuckle...I had the misfortune of going to DeMontfort Uni in MK 10 years ago and vividly remember having to use the launderette in Netherfield....sitting there for 2 hours waiting for it to end...........I think MK has changed a bit since I last visited..... well, apart from Netherfield I suspect........that and Conningborough (sp??) - chav central....

Just a small update for you,

THE CAR HAS BEEN FOUND

it was found on a housing estate in Newport Pagnell, a few miles up the road. Aparently no sign of external damage, the police are now checking it over for finger prints etc.

The owner is not sure if anything is missing yet, or if it is going to drive ok.

It wasnt the police that found it though, it was the owner who was tipped off.

quote

to cut a long story short i've found my car. Got a call from someone who drinks in my local saying some bloke knows where my car is, and do i want it back. After a few more phone calls he tells me where it is. Newport pagnall down this close. So i went found the car, rang the police. Soco are having a look at it tomorrow. Not sure if this is good news or not there didnt appear to be any damage on the exterior. Will have to see how it drives when i get it back in a day or two.

endquote.
